Here are some things that I do. If you need something a little different, feel free to contact me with your project ideas, and we can work something out!

+ What kind of editing services do you provide?

My services cover the spectrum of line editing, copyediting, and proofreading. In other words, I can do any combination of the following for you:

  • Ensure consistency + standardize voice, word choice, spelling, etc.
  • Check for typographical, spelling, and grammar errors.
  • Fact-check your dates, numbers, etc.
  • Improve flow, readability, and style.
  • Offer suggestions for further content and future improvement.
  • Provide you with a style sheet + one-page report for longer manuscripts.

+ Do you edit books?

Yes! I specialize in memoirs, YA fiction, novels, and self-improvement, but I’d be more than glad to take a look at manuscripts across all genres. For books and longer manuscripts, I’m happy to do a sample edit so that you can get a feel for how we work together before making your decision.

+ How much will it cost?

Editing services start at $0.02/word and depend on the level of editing required, timeline, and complexity.

+ What is a ghostwriter?

A ghostwriter is someone who will write as you using your voice. You retain full rights to the writing, and the ghostwriter is sworn to secrecy.

+ That sounds a little shady. Why should I hire one?

Understandable, but not to worry - ghostwriting is completely normal and absolutely okay. Ghostwriters do two main things for you:

They save you time - Often, business owners find themselves with too much to do and not enough time to do it all. Ghostwriters alleviate some of that pressure by taking your ideas and weaving them together for you, saving you hours of precious time.

They make you sound like a professional writer - You’re a business owner. You have great ideas. You work your butt off for success. But let’s face it, writing can be tough. Ghostwriters are professional writers who will take your ideas and turn them into written magic in ways that you might not be able to do by yourself.

+ What does the process look like?

First, you’ll tell me what you need and send over a list of thoughts, essential points, and keywords. We’ll discuss what you’d like the writing to sound like - how formal you’d like it or what ‘vibe’ you’d like it to portray. Next, I’ll draw up an outline for you to approve or add more information to. Then, I’ll come up with a draft. Finally, you’ll approve the draft or let me know if you need anything tweaked.

+ How much will it cost?

Ghostwriting starts at $0.20 per word. Ultimately, the final rate will depend on length, timeline, and complexity.

+ What does ‘content creation’ include?

Content creation includes any sort of writing your business may need. Most often, this means blog or newsletter content but can also include website and social media copy. Naturally, this covers a wide range of services. Some of the things I can do for you are:

  • Write engaging, on-brand content for your business.
  • Ensure your posts are SEO-friendly.
  • Source copyright-free images for each post.
  • Pitch content ideas based on your target audience and business niche.
  • Upload and format posts directly to your Wordpress or Squarespace website.

+ Why do I need blog content?

Numerous studies have shown that blogs are great for businesses.

Having a blog:

  • Increases website traffic
  • Generates leads
  • Establishes industry authority

+ How much will it cost?

Blog packages start at $120/month for 1000 words of content (One 1000-word post or two 500-word posts) and are subject to a minimum three-month contract.

Other options include:

$150 for 5 hours of any sort of writing your business might need. Each additional hour will be charged at $35/hour. Subject to a recurring contract.
